At the Afghanistan Canada Council (ACC), our Social and Community Development program is dedicated to empowering Afghan diaspora communities across Canada to grow, thrive and lead with confidence.
We work to strengthen community capacity by building meaningful social connections, developing leadership skills, and fostering collaborative networks that inspire a sense of belonging and resilience in the community. Through culturally relevant workshops, volunteer programs, and community-led initiatives, we support individuals and groups in identifying local challenges and creating sustainable grassroots solutions.
Our goal is to nurture inclusive and welcoming spaces where Afghan Canadians feel empowered to share their voices, celebrate their heritage, and actively contribute to Canada’s social and civic life. By investing in the strength and potential of our communities, we help build a stronger and more connected future for all.
